This project is a 26,624 square foot addition and a 5,894 square foot renovation to the existing Performing Arts Building for George Mason University. The project consists of steel and masonry construction with brick, curtainwall, and metal panel skin. Interior construction includes fine millwork, a terrazzo floor lobby, stretched fabric wall systems, acoustical wall panels, floating floor systems, three clerestory performance rooms, intricate audio/visual package and miscellaneous specialties and furnishings. The building was constructed on a combination of helical driven pier and geo-pier foundation systems.
